Flying Chimp, also known as Waldo, is an Atari ST virus from 1990. When a floppy in Drive A: is booted, it becomes memory resident. It hooks the Hdv_bpb vector allowing it access to other disks in drive A:. It infects floppy disks as they are accessed. It will not survive a reset and does not attach itself to hard disks. After every 5 successful infections or 20 bootsector accesses, the virus displays the following message on the screen: "Zapped by Waldo the Flying Chimp!".
