Freeze is a boot sector virus for the Atari ST. When a disk infected with Freeze is executed, the virus becomes memory resident. The virus infects disks when they are inserted, using the hdv_rw vector and installing an MFP interrupt. It can't install itself to a hard disk. The system will gradually slow down until it freezes
