Greengoblins also known as Goblins is an Atari ST virus from 1989. When a disk infected with Greengoblins is booted, it loads itself into memory, hooking Hdv_bpb and resvector. It copies itself to drives A or B as they are called. It does not attempt to infect the hard disk. After the virus has copied itself 16 times, the screen becomes garbled. After 128 copies, it displays the message "The Green Goblins Strike Again".
The virus probably originates in England. It was discovered in April of 1989 by Clive Duberley.
